BSP (British Standard Pipe) is a common thread outside North America. BSPT (T = Tapered) tapers down while BSPP (P = Parallel) is a straight thread. Both have a thread flank angle of 55 Degrees while NPT (US National Pipe Thread) is 60 Degrees.
